What is Text and Talk?
Text and Talk (also known as Text n Talk and Text to Talk) service allows you to make very cheap international calls from your mobile or landline with no need to set up an account. The service operates on a pre-pay basis and calls are made using the available credit, which can be topped up on request. Service Provider: Twelve Telecom Ltd, UK Customer support: 0333 155 5030.
How do I top up?
Simply text CALL to 79910 for a £10 + £1 FREE call credit, CALL to 85787 for £5 credit, or CALL to 88565 for £1.50 credit. The text message will be charged to you by your mobile provider and for this we send your pin number with £1.50/ £5/£10 + £1 FREE credit along with the local and free phone access numbers.
How do I use Text and Talk?
Simply dial the access number (0333 155 5011) included in the confirmation text message, listen to the message, enter the full international number followed by the # key . That's it your connected.
What if I have sent a text requesting a top up, but have not received a confirmation message back?
Generally a confirmation message is sent instantaneously, however very occasionally for example at peak times the mobile networks maybe congested which means that the confirmation message maybe delayed. Do not resend the message as you will be charged twice. If after a couple of hours you have not received the confirmation message please contact our customer services team who will be able to identify what the issue is.
Are there any administration, subscription or other fees?
There is no administration or subscription fees, a connection charge of 5 pence is charged on each call.
Is there a maximum amount of top ups that I am allowed in one day?
Yes, you can not top up with more than £20 in one day. Customers are limited to two top ups per day.
Can I topup my balance?
Yes. Repeat the original top-up process - that never changes. If you have - for example - 20p remaining credit and you top-up with another £5 you now have £5.20's worth of credit to make calls. Simple!
Does my Text and Talk balance expire?
Your credit only expires if you don't top up for 3 months. Every time you top up, you extend your whole balance by a further 3 months. So provided you top up within the three month period then you don't lose your credit.
Tell me more about the FREE credit on the £10 code?
With the first use on the £10 code 79910 and any top ups using this code a FREE £1 credit will be added to your calling credit. In effect, this means you are getting 10% call credit FREE.
How can I avoid dialling the access number each time?
For convenience, you can save our access number in your contacts for seamless dialling. You can either save the number into the phone book on your phone in the regular way, or you can edit the numbers in your phone book to include the access number as well.

Calls when connected to our service are charged per minute. There is connection fee of 5 pence per call. Prices are subject to change without any prior notice. Calls made to mobiles may cost more, unless specifically mentioned in the destination list. When you are connected to the access number, calls from your provider are charged (if calling the access number isn’t part of your inclusive minutes’ allowance) from time of connection to the service. The charge is incurred even if the destination number is engaged or the call is not answered. Therefore we advise to replace the handset after a short period if your calls are engaged or unanswered. If you do not connect to your destination, no credit will be deducted from your balance.
We will automatically top you up with £5.00 credit if you have previously topped up with £1.50 or £5 short codes or with £10.00 credit if you have previously topped up with £10. The auto topup will occur just before your calling credit is about to run out. To opt out of the automatic top up, simply text STOP to 88565 or 85787 at any time. If you choose to opt out, calls will disconnect once the credit has finished and a new text request with CALL to 88565, 85787 or 79910 will have to be made for a further top-up.
