Step 2

Once you receive a top-up confirmation text message, dial the access number. After hearing the voice prompt, enter your destination number in a full format followed by the # key. (e.g. 00 + country code + area code + number + #).

Orange, T-mobile and Virgin customers are only allowed 1 top-up per day. PINs will not be sent to T-Mobile and Virgin customers, who can only use the credit from the mobile the top-up was made from.

What is Text and Talk?

Text and Talk (also known as Text n Talk and Text to Talk) service allows you to make very cheap international calls from your mobile or landline with no need to set up an account. The service operates on a pre-pay basis and calls are made using the available credit, which can be topped up on request. How do I top up?

Simply text TOPUP to 67400 for a £10 + £1 FREE call credit, TOPUP to 80077 for £5 credit, TOPUP to 84459 for £3 credit or TOPUP to 80876 for £1.50 credit. The text message will be charged to you by your mobile provider and for this we send your pin number with £1.50/£3/ £5/£10 + £1 FREE credit along with the local and free phone access numbers.

How do I use Text and Talk?

Simply dial any one of the access number included in the confirmation text message, listen to the message, if dialing from a different phone from that which you topped up from, then use the PIN included in the welcome text, enter the full international number - do not press send again. That's it your connected.

What if I have sent a text requesting a top up, but have not received a confirmation message back?

Generally a confirmation message is sent instantaneously, however very occasionally for example at peak times the mobile networks maybe congested which means that the confirmation message maybe delayed. Do not resend the message as you will be charged twice. If after a couple of hours you have not received the confirmation message please contact our customer services team who will be able to identify what the issue is.

Are there any administration, subscription or other fees?

Surcharge to dial 0800 access is 1p per minute. Payphone surcharge 10p per minute. A connection fee applies equal to double the per minute rate, with a maximum fee of 30p/call.

Is there a maximum amount of top ups that I am allowed in one day?

Yes, you can not top up with more than £20 in one day i.e. 4 X £5 top ups.

Tell me more about the FREE credit on the £10 code?

With the first use on the £10 code 67400 and any top ups using this code a FREE £1 credit will be added to your calling credit. In effect, this means you are getting 10% call credit FREE.
